....Dans ce concert de musique écrite pour violon et violoncelle, les soeurs Yolanda et Carmen Bruno interprètent les deux duos les plus célèbres du genre par Maurice Ravel et Zoltan Kodaly. Entre ces chefs d’œuvre du répertoire, on aura le grand plaisir d’entendre la musique de Jörg Widmann, J.S. Bach, Iannis Xenakis et Pēteris Vasks. ..This is a sister act! If you were at the Christmas Tea last December, you heard them perform Ravel (part of his Sonata for violin and cello), a small taste of the programme they will be presenting on the 25th. They are wonderful players, and they know each other very, very well. Along with the Maurice Ravel they will play another cornerstone of the repertoire for violin & cello by Zoltán Kodály, and music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Jörn Widmann, Pēteris Vasks and Iannis Xenakis. ....
